                           Hummingbirds are birds local to the Americas and include the natural family Trochilidae. With around 360 species, they happen from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, however, by far most of the species are found in the jungles. They are little birds, with most species estimating 7.5–13 cm long. The littlest surviving hummingbird species is the 5 cm honey bee hummingbird, which weighs under 2.0 g. The biggest hummingbird species is the 23 cm monster hummingbird, gauging 18–24 grams.
